Description
KPIX Eyewitness News report from May 30th 1968 by Pat O'Brien featuring a double homicide and kidnapping in Stockton (San Joaquin County CA). Includes an interview with a police officer silent views of Mariani's Clothing and Liquor store an interview with sisters Lydia and Ramona Reynaga and a voice-over summary of the crime by O'Brien who names Baltazar Garcia Estolas as the suspect. The murder victims are identified as Giosue Mariani (store co-owner) and Pellegrino Chiari (store clerk). Estolas made the FBI's 1969 list of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and was arrested in Langtry Texas on September 3rd 1969. He was sentenced to death on March 31st 1970. Note: there are two short segments in this report with voiceover and no picture.
