November Updates
Check out our annual ofrenda, the latest arrivals, and a librarian’s book recommendation, plus this month’s events.
Our Dia De Muertos ofrenda returns
Stop by the first floor to visit our annual Day of the Dead display and ofrenda. Find books about this celebration of life and death, or add your contribution to our very own Tree of Life!
The display will be up through the first week of November.
New books to explore
Hungry for a new read? Explore our latest arrivals on the first floor!
Notable titles include a graphic adaptation of The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. DuBois, a book about the creation of Bong Joon Ho’s “Parasite,” and a biography of Marsha P. Johnson by activist Tourmaline.
The display will be refreshed often as new books arrive. Stop by whenever you visit!
