Different parts of the Library serve different needs. What's your go-to spot?

Zoom class, group work, and social gatherings 🐝

Our first, second, and third floors are all collaborative spaces where you might notice a busy buzz of conversation.

The Collaboration Studio on the first floor has a little of everything: long couches, big tables, computers, and reservable rooms.

⚠️ Third-floor faithful, keep in mind that the Quiet Corner at the northwest corner of the floor is an exception to the rule. This area is set up for solo/focused study as a courtesy to folks upstairs on our quiet fourth floor. Avoid talking here, please.

Quiet focus 🤫

For more peaceful surroundings, go high or low: We have designated quiet study areas throughout the fourth floor and on the ground floor (basement).

The Silent Study Room on the ground floor has exterior windows to let in natural light and the strictest rules about noise in the building. Please help us keep this space comfortable for those who are sensitive to sounds.

⚠️ Fourth-floor devotees, be aware that the areas nearest the overlook onto the third floor are often less quiet than other areas because there's no barrier to keep sound from traveling up. (Our building is quirky that way.)

Time to unwind 🛋️

The Library’s Living Room was designed with wellness in mind. Enjoy couches and armchairs, puzzles and craft supplies to rest your mind, a book-swap shelf, daylight from the windows, and more.

Enter through the Collaboration Studio on the first floor.

Kid zone 🤸🏽

We created a Family Study Room on the third floor for adults and children to use together. You'll find toys, books, and furniture for a range of ages.

Kids are also welcome to accompany their grown-ups anywhere in the Library. Learn more: Kids and Families
