Raggedy Robin marries Raggedy Jane at Glide

KPIX-TV news footage from May 1, 1971 with reporter Ben Williams featuring scenes from the marriage of Robin Smith (aka Raggedy Robin) to Jane Shirley Melody (aka Raggedy Jane) at Glide memorial Church in San Francisco. Inlcudes views of performances by local musicians and artists, of guests celebrating wildly - including The Cockettes - and brief shots of the ceremony itself. Williams declares: "Today Glide Memorial outdid itself. If there's ever been a more unusual wedding, no one here had ever heard of it."
