KPIX-TV silent news footage from May 17 1967 featuring brief scenes from the Northern California movie premiere of 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, on Market Street. Includes views of Rosemary Clooney, Richard Chamberlain and Julie Christie being greeted by a large crowd on the sidewalk outsdie the Theatre. Note: this 16mm film print was re-transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in September 2021. Film shrinkage was measured in Sept. 2021 at 0.30%.
