Synanon celebrates 1-year anniversary of new building

KPIX-TV news footage from March 13 1972 with reporter Rollin Post featuring scenes from the Synanon building in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood, which is celebrating it's first "birthday." Includes views around the building, of it's residents and different floors and an interview with Synanon "regent" Jack Hurst. Note that Post ends by reflecting he first reported on Synanon 14 years ago from the southern Californian town of Venice. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.

This 16mm reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in September 2022.
