Description
KPIX-TV news footage from March 26, 1970 with reporter Belva Davis featuring scenes from the Synanon building in downtown Oakland, where 75 Oakland law enforcement officers are currently playing the Synanon Game. Davis explains that officers will receive credit for completing a 10-week UC extension course called "The Police and the Community" for playing the Synanon Game. Includes views of police officers in the Synanon building and of people playing the Synanon Game (no audio). Also interviews with Synanon members and police officers. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.

This 16mm color reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in January 2023.
