Sheriff Don Striepeke on murders of young girls in Sonoma County

KPIX-TV news footage from August 1, 1973 with reporter Ed Arnow featuring brief scenes from an interview with Sheriff Don Striepeke (1929-1988), who talks about a recent spate of murders of young girls in Sonoma County, as fresh corpses continue to be found. At present, Striepeke states: "It's a mystery to us too Ed." These killings would continue and eventually be referred to as the Santa Rosa hitchhiker murders.
