Description
KPIX news footage from October 27 1972 featuring very brief scenes from a hearing of the San Francisco Supervisors, where a man is shown speaking in support of street artists being allowed to trade on city streets. He claims they are: "A necessary addition to our culture and to the excitement and to the ethos of our community," before sitting down next to Warren Garrick Nettles (a leader of the street artist movement). Note: this 16mm reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096x2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in March 2022.
