KPIX-TV news footage from December 12 1974 featuring brief scenes from a public hearing by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors Fire, Safety and Police Committee, which would unanimously recommend that a city ordinace placing restrictions on the sales practices of street artists should advance before the full board for adoption. Includes views of Supervisor Terry Francois, Police Chief Al Nelder and of people attending the hearing. Ends with an interview with Bill Clark, who states: "If this ordinance is passed it would result in the elimination of street artists from the city of San Francisco ...
