Press conference with kidney transplant pioneers

KRON-TV news footage from January 9, 1968 with reporter Phil Wilson featuring a press conference by kidney transplant pioneers Dr. Folkert O. Belzer, Dr. Samuel L. Kountz, Jr. and Dr. John Englebert Dunphy. They are part of a team which has developed a machine which can transport organs - especially kidneys - and extend the time available for transplanting them from donors into recipents.
