KRON-TV news footage from December 2, 1969. with reporter Mike Mills featuring scenes from a Pow Wow at the Federal Building in San Francisco between the Federal goverment - represented by Regional Director of the US government's General Services Administration Thomas E. Hannon - and American Indians occupying Alcatraz Island - represented by Richard Oakes, Dennis Turner and Mary Turner. Includes views from a press conference with Hannon and interviews with Oakes and Turner. This Pow Wow was also covered by KPIX-TV. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
