Art Deco Cinema Exhibition at Oakland Museum

KPIX-TV news foortage from March 2, 1973 with reporter Belva Davis featuring views of Davis and a museum official walking around an exhibition of Bay Area art deco cinemas. Includes interviews with museum patrons, who share their opinions on why cinema decor and furnishings were so ornate during the 1920s and 1930s. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.

This 16mm reversal film print was transferred in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in October 2022.
