KPIX-TV news footage from April 17, 1968 featuring brief scenes of the Oakland A's baseball team arriving at an aiport in the Bay Area. Includes views of fans, of Executive Vice President Joe DiMaggio and of players including Reggie Jackson and Phil Roof. Note that the As would play their first ever game at the Oakland Coliseum later that evening, against the Baltimore Orioles. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
