Nurses hand in resignations at St Mary's Hospital

KPIX-TV news footage from July 1966 with reporter Ben Williams at St Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, featuring press conferences by Lawrence Corbett for the hospital administrators and Anne Dixon for the registered nurses, who have begun handing in resignations as part of their salary dispute. Williams states that 120 nurses handed in their resignations at St Mary's that morning and in 2 weeks 3500 nurses are expected to strike at 33 Bay Area hospitals, as negotiations between the two sides have been stuck for weeks.
