Description
KRON news footage from April 23rd 1965 with reporter Art Brown featuring scenes from San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, where police are raiding topless bars, including the Condor Club. Includes views of performer Carol Doda at the police station, from the courtroom, interviews with owners, managers and workers at these clubs and also lawyers. There are also brief glimpses of the raids themselves in progress, accompanied by lusty booing from the club audiences. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
