Description
KRON-TV news footage from November 28, 1967 with reporter Ed Hart featuring scenes from an interview with Nancy Reagan, who is visiting Oakland. She's asked about the controversy surrounding her husband Ronald Reagan over a "credibility gap" and responds by reflecting on his "integrity." Reagan is also asked how she would feel about: "The prospect about being America's First Lady in 1969." Reagan laughs and replies: "I never think about it." Ends with brief views of Nancy Reagan entering a hall and standing in front of a large audience of women. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
