KPIX-TV news footage from February 4th 1967 with reporter Jim Anderson featuring scenes from the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael, where lawmakers and residents are discussing issues relating to crime in the unincorporated community of Marin City. Includes interviews with: Marin County Supervisor Peter H. Behr; Sheriff Louis P. Mountanos; Edward Moose of the California Development Company; Marin City resident Mrs Cragg and special assistant to the Principal of Tamalpais Highschool Lanny Berry. In his introduction from Marin City Anderson states: "In the last year and more specifically in the last two months there has risen the tragic but definite possiblity that we, in America in the mid 60s, are not yet ready for a racially and economically mixed community like Marin City."
