KRON-TV news footage from May 30, 1976 with reporter Jack Bates featuring scenes from Larraburu Bakery, which has just announced it will close because of financial problems resulting from a law suit. Includes views of people queuing for bread, interviews with a disgruntled employee and a customer and a press conference by Larraburu Chairman Harold Paul and President Harold Paul, Jr. Harold Paul explains: "We've decided to do it just the way we've done it: to go out gracefully. So that the name Larraburu will not be hurt." Note that Cyrus Goldman eventually purchased Larraburu at a bankruptcy court sale for $92,666.00 and then auctioned off all contents of the bakery piecemeal in August.
