Lady Bird Johnson and Vietnam protestors at San Francisco Opera

KPIX-TV news footage from with reporter Nancy Clark from September 20, 1966 featuring scenes of Lady Bird Johnson attending the San Francisco Opera, where a group of "anti-Vietnam war pickets" are protesting outside. Opens with silent views of Lady Bird Johnson being driven away from the Fairmont Hotel and ends with a to-camera summary of events by Clark. Note that the TV Archive was one of the community partners for The Lady Bird Diaries, which had its California premiere at the DocLands Documentary Film Festival on May 11, 2023.
