Black Power at Washington High School

KRON News footage from September 29th 1966 featuring brief scenes of African American students stood outside Washington High School in San Francisco holding up a hand-drawn poster which reads "Black Power." This is during the Bayview Hunters Point social uprising where African American residents are protesting at the police killing of teenager Matthew 'Peanut' Johnson.
