Description
KQED News report on student protests at UC Berkeley against a men only self defense class from January 13th 1970. Includes scenes of women and students marching holding self defense classes in a corridor (outside a guarded room hosting the official class) arguing with KGO reporters and delivering a press statement: "The exclusion from the karate class was an example of the many ways in which the university as part of society refuses to deal with the legitimate needs and demands of women." This clip features one brief sequence of under-exposed film (poor camera lighting) and many instances of graphic bad language.
