KQED News report from April 4th 1975 featuring an interview with a gay spokesman who is objecting to what he refers to as San Francisco Chronicle's Herb Caen's "publicly libelling gays as a group." He states that: "In his column ? he [Caen] feels perfectly OK about calling gays 'queers fruits dykes fags and homos'. We don't think that's acceptable." He goes on to place this complaint in the context of how it may negatively influence politicians when deciding on whether to approve the political bill AB33 relating to gay employment discrimination.
