Description
KQED News report by Linda Schacht featuring a gay rights demonstration in San Francisco from February 19th 1975. Includes scenes of crowds protesting and listening to a speech by Cecil Williams in which he declares that: "One way to bring about ? acceptance ? is that whoever is elected to political office ought to realize that either we're all going to live here together and work here together ... or we're going to continue to struggle until everyone has the same rights and equal opportunities." Ends with a demonstrator being interviewed and discussing the gay electorate's right to call for an investigation into police harrasment and corruption.
