Description
KRON-TV special report from 1965 examining the meaning and impact of legislative re-apportionment of the State Senate for the lawmakers and citizens of California which the Federal government has ruled must be determined by population and not area. Focussing on the concerns of lawmakers from Northern California that re-apportionment will disenfranchise their constituents this program features interviews with: Senator George Miller; Assemblyman Willie Brown; Senator Virgil O'Sullivan; Jesse M Unruh; Senator Stephen Teale; Senator Thomas M. Rees and Senator Hugh Burns. Opens with an address by Governor Pat Brown to the California State Legislature. This film was written and produced by Al Burglund narrated by Jerry Jensen and directed by Dick Behrendt.
