Description
KPIX Eyewitness News report from May 7th 1968 by Ben Williams near the steps of San Francisco's City Hall featuring a Free City Rally. Includes scenes of Police Chief Cahill playing dominoes of Terry Hallinan and Peter Coyote speaking to crowds about the need to take responsibility for improving the city's living conditions and an interview with a judge who explains why he ordered that a young man wearing a mask be arrested. Ends with views of the young man in question (Ron Thelin) being arrested by police and with a to-camera summary from Williams.
