Description
KPIX Eyewitness News report from July 19th 1967 by Ben Williams featuring views of basketball player Rick Barry and San Francisco Warriors owner Franklin Mieuli in court. They are contesting Barry's legal right to leave the Warriors to play at the Oakland Oaks. Barry tells Williams that at the present time he would not consider playing for the Warriors and Mieuli states: "I think Nate Thurmond demonstrated a great deal of loyalty good judgment and I think ... the city should be proud of Nate Thurmond."
