Description
KPIX Eyewitness News footage from July 11th 1977 featuring brief scenes from an interview with George Atkinson of the Oakland Raiders who states his "reputation has been damaged" by comments from Pittsburgh Steelers coach Chuck Noll who called him part of football's "criminal element." It should be noted that Atkinson filed a $2 million defamation lawsuit against Noll and the Steelers. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
