Hunters Point - Picketing of Contractor

KPIX Eyewitness News report from January 26th 1977 by Ed Arnow in San Francisco featuring scenes of Bayview Hunters Point residents picketing outside a construction site. Includes interviews with the contractor and a protestor who points out that so many people have joined their picket line because the neighborhood's unemployment rate is 70%. Residents are protesting that the unions will only authorize the contractor to hire qualified workers for this job which rules out many of them from securing work.
