Description
KPIX Eyewitness News report from Yuba City (Sutter County CA) on May 22nd 1976 featuring the aftermath of a school bus crash which occurred on May 21st at the Marina Vista off-ramp from Interstate route 680 near Martinez. Twenty eight students from the Yuba City High School Chorus and their music teacher Cristina Estabrook were killed en route to Orinda's Miramonte High School. Includes views from a memorial service a press conference by an emergency services spokesman and views of the bus wreckage. Please note that there is audio distortion in parts of this film caused by 16mm film warpage.
