Description
KPIX Eyewitness News report from Yuba City (Sutter County CA) on May 22nd 1976 featuring the aftermath of a school bus crash which occurred on May 21st at the Marina Vista off-ramp from Interstate route 680 near Martinez. Twenty eight students from the Yuba City High School Chorus and their music teacher Cristina Estabrook were killed en route to Orinda's Miramonte High School. Includes aerial and street views of Yuba City scenes of high school kids in mourning an eyewitness account of the crash and interviews with emergency services and Principal George W. Zerkovich.
