Description
KPIX Eyewitness news footage from April 16th 1974 featuring a press conference given by Bobby Seale and Elaine Brown. Brown claims that the power structure and "the powers that be" are seeking to discredit Elaine Brown and him because they have been "quietly organizing some 3000 precinct workers in the Oakland community" ahead of the 1975 election in which Seale says that the Black Panthers intend to run candidates. Also features footage of a police official from the San Francisco Police Department commenting on the discovery of a large cache of weapons that were found when his officers in concert with the Oakland Police Department went in search of the weapon used in an earlier crime.
