KPIX Eyewitness News report from September 10th 1973 featuring brief scenes from an interview with U.S. Congressman Pete Stark (8th Congressional district) in which he discusses global trends in drug trafficking and the need to increase Bay Area customs control on smugglers. It should be noted that Congressman Stark went on to represent California's 9th District from 1975-93 and it's 13th District from 1993 to the present (May 2012).
