Hunters Point Mental Health Program

KPIX Eyewitness News report from December 21st 1972 by Ben Williams featuring a press conference in which a spokeman describes how a new mental health services plan will be enacted in San Franisco's Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood. He points out that: "The important thing about this is and what makes it so unique ... this is the first time that a health department has gone to a minority medical group and said to them we want to contract with you to provide these services and to see that they're bought in there to the community people."
