Description
KPIX Eyewitness News report from August 5th 1970 by Mike Lee featuring a Contra Costa County public hearing about the safety of buildings in the Canyon community. Also includes scenes of people walking around Canyon and inspecting the buildings in question. One man notes that: "The buildings are a lot different than you would think they were just from hearing the testimony. Both ways. Some are maybe more dilapidated ... and some are ... houses ... that you can see there's been a lot of time and effort and money put into them."
