Peter Behr Press Conference on Point Reyes

KPIX Eyewitness News report from October 24th 1969 featuring a press conference by Chairman of the 'Save Our Seashore' campaign Peter Behr about the need to secure funds for Point Reyes National Seashore. He explains that if $38 million dollars isn't found immediately to purchase 30000 acres of land which remains in private ownership then: "What began as a moral commitment on the part of the government will end as a significant conservation tragedy.
