Joan Baez refuses to volunteer taxes

KPIX-TV news footage from 1966 featuring scenes from a press conference with Joan Baez, who makes the point that she is refusing to actively volunteer her taxes to the Federal government, as a form of protest against the Vietnam War. She states: "I feel armaments are not only immoral and stupid but impractical" and questions whether what she's doing could rightly be described as "unpatriotic."
