Description
KTVU news footage from December 1967 featuring views of Joan Baez, her mother Joan Bridge Baez and others (including Professor Kay Boyle) singing protest songs sat down and blocking a doorway at night, possibly outside a draft induction center in Oakland. They are arrested by police and then escorted to a waiting police van, to the sound of applause. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
