Description
KPIX-TV news footage from January 24, 1967 with reporter Jim Anderson featuring a visit to the Emeryville mudflat sculptures located along the shoreline of San Francisco Bay, next to the I-80 southbound lanes in Emeryville. Includes silent views of these sculptures made from discarded materials, which were first erected in the early 1960s. As Anderson puts it during his brief introduction: "Tonight we are going to look at junk: beautiful or otherwise." Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.

This film reversal print was remastered in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in September 2022.
