Interview with Art Agnos (Zebra shooting victim)

KRON-TV News footage from January 31st 1974 featuring an interview by Mike Mills with Art Agnos, who remembers the December 13th 1973 attack on him in San Francisco by a man who is thought to be one of a group being referred to as the Zebra killers. Agnos was then a member of the California Commission on Aging and was shot twice in the back after attending a meeting in the Portrero Hill neighborhood. Agnes was seriously wounded by this shooting and when asked if the experience will deter him from going back on the streets, he replies: "If anything it's gonna just put me back on the street working as hard as I can to continue developing programs that the community thinks they need. So that we can establish the services that people need to put an end to the kinds of conditions that would lead ... a group of men ... to hate somebody so much to do this."
