Groundbreaking Ceremony in Fillmore District for Prince Hall Apartments (1970)

KPIX-TV news footage from June 27, 1970 with reporter Ben Williams featuring scenes from the official groundbreaking ceremony for the Prince Hall Apartments in the Fillmore District, at the intersection of Fillmore Street at Golden Gate Avenue. Includes views of Mayor Joseph Alioto and others speaking and breaking grounds in front of residents. This $1.8 million development would provide 92 new apartments.
