SF Giants play the LA Dodgers at Seals Stadium (1958)

KPIX-TV silent news footage from April 17, 1958 featuring scenes from Game 3 of the San Francisco Giants first ever baseball series in San Francisco at Seals Stadium, against the LA Dodgers. The Giants won this game and went on to win the series 4-2. We haven't found any coverage of the opening game in the KPIX Collection but there is footage in the KRON Collection. This 16mm b&w film print was scanned in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in April 2024.
