Local Emmy Award winning KQED science report by Bill Skane from 1982 which examines how the medical community is trying to develop new methods of effectively treating Kaposi's Sarcoma and other symptoms of what is referred to here as GRIDS (gay related infectious diseases). Includes an interview with Dr Paul Volberding of UC San Francisco and Dan Turner (a patient) views of laboratory work and brief scenes from the first Gay Olympics in San Francisco.
