Description
KPIX news footage from May 30th 1973 featuring brief views of Edmund Kemper being led towards court in Santa Cruz in shackles. Note that Kemper is 6ft 9 inches tall and these shots illustrate his imposing stature well. Also includes an interview with Kemper's lawyer - public defender James Jackson - and voice over commentary from O'Brien, who states that: Kemper has made two failed suicide attempts; authorities are considering having him transferred from the Santa Cruz jail and Jackson has secured a one week delay in the court proceedings for his client.
