ACCD picket at San Francisco Federal Building (1977)

KPIX-TV news footage from April 5 1977 with reporter Ed Arnow at the Federal Building in San Francisco, where the American Coalition of Citizens with Disabilities (ACCD) has organized a picket in protest against delay over government signing Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Includes views of people on the picket line and an interview with a spokeswoman. Note this was part of nationawide action on the part of ACCD and the sit-in in which was begun here in San Francisco continued for a full month. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
