Dick Gregory visits San Jose State College (1969)

KPIX-TV news footage from November 24 1969 with reporter Mike Lee featuring brief views of comedian and activist Dick Gregory speaking to an intellectual history class at San Jose State College, where he has been selected as the college's scholar-in-residence (he retained this position until 1970). Also includes background voice-over from Lee and ends with brief scenes from an interview with Gregory, who talks about the growing social awareness of young people. This 16mm film print was remastered in 4K (4096 x 2970) using a Lasergraphics ScanStation film scanner, in August 2022.
