KPIX-TV news footage from July 1st 1970 with reporter Mike Lee featuring an Iranian student demonstration in front of the Iranian consulate in San Francisco. Some of the signs read "The Shah is the puppet of U.S. imperialism." The students were protesting the arrest of 41 students who stormed the Iranian consulate in protest of the Shah's brutal dictatorship on Friday June 5th. Lee explains that the demonstrations will continue in front of all Iranian consulates in the U.S. until the felony charges have been dropped.
