KPIX-TV news footage from January 18, 1973 with reporter Mike Lee featuring scenes from an interview with one of the jurors in the Juan Corona murder trial. A 38-year old labor contractor Juan Corona was accused of murdering 25 migrant workers who were found buried in peach orchards along the Feather River, in Sutter County. The jury has just found Corona guilty of first-degree murder on all 25 counts charged after a 4-month trial. Note that the jury foreman in this trial was Ernest Phillips, a 53 year old retired air Force master sergeant, but we are currently unable to confirm if he is the juror being interviewed in this clip.
