Description
KTVU News footage from 1967 featuring an interview with model, author and topless dancer Gaye Marcia Spiegelman (1932-1968), who wants to file a complaint against Whisper magazine for publishing semi-nude photographs of her in their July 1967 edition. Spiegelman states: "They do not have my permission to take this picture … And I was so shook up about it and they showed it to my husband ... I've got a book coming out and I've got legitimate stories. I'm a writer ... And they come along and stick something like this in a magazine. It makes me look like some topless idiot!" Note that Spiegelman was killed in a car accident in November 1968 while en route to a nightclub engagement in Southern California. Opening graphic designed by Carrie Hawks.
