Sergeant Brian V. McDonnell dies from injuries

KPIX-TV news footage from February 18, 1970 with reporter Dave Monsees featuring scenes from a press conference with supervising Police Captain Jeremiah Taylor, who confirms that Sergeant Brian V. McDonnell has died from injuries sustained by a pipe bomb blast at the Park Police Substation in San Francisco's Upper Haight neighborhood at 10:50pm on Monday 16 February. This explosion injured several other officers. Taylor goes onto describe counter-measures to protect police stations that SFPD are considering, in the wake of this attack.
